Is anyones job safe?

No job seems to be safe at the moment, a family member of mine has recently been made redundant from Trentham Gardens, staff at JCB have had to cut their hours to avoid redundancy, Spode called in the administrators back in November, jobs at the M&S store in Newcastle-under-Lyme are now at risk as the store is closing down, Wedgwood has called in the administrators which means thousands could become jobless and not forgetting the closure of our historic Woolworth's after 99 years on the High Street.... is anyone safe?
